Ogemaw County features a wide range of high quality educational opportunities. Three K-12 public school systems in the county and one private K-8 system provide parents a choice. Nearby Kirtland Community College offers over 50 degree and certificate programs and six transfer degree programs and services 3,200 students annually. Baker College also offers several local degree programs. Specialized technical training is available through Kirtland’s M-TEC Center, and the C.O.O.R. Career Tech Center. Ogemaw County educational organizations work in partnership with area employers to provide worker education and training programs.
